The MISS TEXAS USA and MISS TEXAS TEEN USA pageants are official state preliminary pageants in the most prestigious pageant system in the world – MISS USA^®/ MISS UNIVERSE^®

Regarded as one of the most anticipated events of the year, our pageant promises glamour, excitement, high level of competition, and an incredible prize package which includes tens of thousands of dollars in cash, jewelry, wardrobe, travel, a brand new car, and the year long, esteemed title of MISS TEXAS USA and MISS TEXAS TEEN USA.

Miss Texas Teen USA will proceed on to represent Texas in the Miss Teen USA^®  pageant. Miss Texas USA will proceed on to represent Texas in the Miss USA^®  pageant.  Upon winning the title of Miss USA, it’s on to the ultimate of pageants – MISS UNIVERSE^®.

THE COMPETITION
The pageant is divided into 3 categories:  Evening Gown, Personal Interview, and Swimsuit (Activewear for teen contestants).  The judges look for an all around winner. The winner may not be the most outstanding in any one category, but may score well in all categories. The judging is based on poise, personality, intelligence, and beauty.

There is no talent competition and no experience is necessary.  In addition to choosing MISS TEXAS USA or MISS TEXAS TEEN USA, awards will be presented to the Swimsuit/Activewear Winner, Most Photogenic, People’s Choice, and Miss Congeniality.

NEW RULE CHANGE: Beginning with the 2023 Miss Texas USA pageant, women who are or have been married, as well as women who are pregnant or have children, will be eligible to compete. This rule change does not apply to the Miss Texas Teen USA pageant and contestants. • MISS TEXAS USA 2024:
  June 21 – 22, 2024
  (2 days)
• MISS TEXAS TEEN USA 2024:
  June 21 – 23, 2024
  (3 days)

LOCATION
All pageant events will be held in the beautiful Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel (2001 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056). Contestants will be provided a hotel room during the duration of the pageant. Contestants are responsible to provide their own transportation to and from the pageant.

COMPETITION WARDROBE
Contestants will be required to provide their own competition wardrobe:

• Evening Gown – There are no specific requirements regarding the gown other than that it should be full length, fits appropriately, and compliments your physical features and personal style
• Personal Interview Attire – Daytime outfit that you feel is appropriate for interview, something that suits your taste and personality. A good guideline would be to ask yourself what you would wear for a press conference or television interview.
• Opening Production Attire – TBA (details to follow)
• Swimsuit/Activewear – TBA (details to follow)

FEES AND WHAT THEY COVER 
*if registered before Feb. 15, 2024 – Entry Fee is $1195
*if registered after Feb. 15, 2024 and Mar. 2024 – Entry Fee is $1395
*if registered during Apr. 2024 and before May 8, 2024 – Entry Fee is $1595
*if registered after May 8, 2024 and Jun. 2024 – Entry Fee is $1995

Entry fees will cover your hotel room and meals during the pageant weekend and will underwrite the expenses of producing the event.  Fees may be paid by credit card or check (payable to Miss Texas USA). Entry fees may be paid by a sponsor, group of sponsors, family, friends, or the contestant, herself.

*Optional Program Book Ad Pages: Contestants have the opportunity to purchase full ad page(s) in the program book. Many contestants use these pages as recruitment tools to obtain sponsorships.  

PHOTOS
Contestants are required to provide a professional quality photo — one 5”x7” color head and shoulders shot, without hat, crown or sash, printed vertically.

HOW TO BEGIN
Completing the registration process is easy and it secures you as an official contestant along with a title you may select to represent at the state pageant. These titles are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Your title will be assigned and confirmed once your official application has been accepted and you have at least paid the Initial Title Deposit. The Initial Title Deposit will secure your title for the pageant and the deposit amount is set according to the date you register — please view the deadline schedule below for the deposit amounts.

Complete this simple two step process to become an official contestant for this year’s pageant:

2. Submit your entry fee. A title deposit (see below) is needed to secure your title and reserve your spot as a contestant. You may also pay the full entry fee upfront should you wish. Choose one of the following payment options:
