William Henderson • Executive Director

William Henderson has been involved with pageants as a director, producer, consultant, and judge for over 20 years. William has judged over 2,500 contestants on the local, state, and national level in all age divisions throughout the country across multiple pageant systems including the Miss Universe Organization and Miss America Organization. For nearly 20 years, he has been involved in the Miss USA/Miss Universe Organization in Texas first as a volunteer, staff member, local director and now as the Executive Director of the Miss Texas USA and Miss Texas Teen USA pageants. Aside from pageants, William spent 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry in sales, marketing, training, and management for several of the world’s largest pharmaceutical giants including GlaxoSmithKline and Schering-Plough. In 2018, combining experience from both the pharmaceutical and beauty industry, William founded and has operated his own skincare and device company.

Jennifer Lester • Administrative Assistant and Contestant Coordinator

Jennifer Lester is the proud mother of three grown children and has been married to her husband Rick for 30 years. With rich Texas roots, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Her education served her well as she raised her children and continues to enjoy a close loving family. Her son, Ricky, plays football and is a senior at Mercer University. Her middle child, Madison, is a professional makeup artist in Houston, TX. Jennifer’s pageant experience began with her oldest daughter, Logan, who competed and ultimately won Miss Texas USA 2018. Eventually, Jennifer joined the full-time pageant staff, where she is privileged to play a key role in the coordination and production of the annual Miss Texas USA® pageant. Jennifer’s hobbies include floral and balloon design and party planning. When she is not spending time with her family and friends or working for the pageant you can find her spoiling her dogs Pickles and Poe!
